It is important to consider that counseling/therapy is an investment in the individuals, couples or families life and not an expense.  Emotional health and wholeness is not a luxury rather the lifestyle that every individual deserves. Counseling/therapy is a priceless asset that you, your relationship and family are entitled to.

How frequently do we meet?

Typically clients come to session once a week for 60 minutes. Couples and families often need between 90 – 120 minutes per session.

What is your methodology?

We take into consideration that each individual, couple or family is unique. Therefore, counseling sessions are carefully tailored to meet the needs of the individual/couple/family with an approach that best accommodates their need(s).

At times this may call for employing evidence based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) or Emotionally Focused Therapy. Always using the best tools and strategies that suits each specific need. The therapeutic relationship is a collaboration between the parties involved and the therapist. The core goal is to reach complete emotional wholeness.

What type of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, checks and credit card Visa, MasterCard and American Express (for a slight fee), at the beginning of each session. Checks should be made payable to Aspire 4 Life and in the interest of time checks should be prepared prior to session.

What is the fee involved?

The initial session is $190 (90 minutes). Subsequent sessions are $125 per 60 minutes. There is a slight increase for couples or family sessions $190 (90 minute session).

Can I use my insurance?

Aspire 4 Life Counseling is not on any insurance panel, therefore, we do not accept insurance as payment. Most of our clients prefer not to use insurance as payment since insurance companies require a diagnosis that has the potential of being shared with employers. Insurance companies require diagnosis, prognosis, and progress report.

Private pay allows quality counseling services with full confidentiality without intrusiveness from managed care requirements.

What if I want to use my insurance?

Most plans, such as POS, reimburse for counseling services with a licensed therapist.

Clients who opt to see me as an Out of Network (OON) provider generally receive between 60-90% reimbursements of the fee. This varies by insurance carrier

Clients must check with their plan to determine coverage.

Clients also have the option of using their Health Savings Account/Flexible Spending Account (Flex Pay). This option is an alternative to avoiding insurance hassles and privacy concerns.

Do you have a sliding scale?

We accommodate clients through offering varying fees to match the financial and time constraints of our clients. Please view our Counseling Services tab for more information

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Yes! When clients schedule sessions the time slot is held specifically for them making that timeframe unavailable to anyone else. As a result, when it is necessary to change or cancel an appointment our policy states clients give a 24 hour notice.

Should the client(s) be a no show to their scheduled appointment without prior (24 hour) notice they are liable for full payment of the session. This is detailed on the intake application.

Will my therapy session confidential?

Aspire 4 Life and its therapist are accountable to follow all guidelines and laws to protect confidentiality. See the intake application for further clarification on your privacy.
